3 weeks left!

  • May. 7th, 2016 at 11:53 AM
Assignments are due on the 21st of May, which should be 3 weeks from now, if I've counted correctly. Some of you have already posted works (congratulations!), and the rest of you are hopefully well on your writing way. Don't hesitate to contact one of the mod team if you have concerns!

If you wish, here are some profound questions for you to ponder in the comments: Are you where you hoped you'd be on your assignment? Got an ending in sight? Which Shep is Best Shep: Paragon or Renegade? Which classic SF book is the best? Kirk or Picard? Which of Leia Organa's hairstyles is the most structurally ambitious? Are you planning on starting a treat?

I have a solid first draft completed! :) Hoping an RL friend who got me into the fandom in question can beta but I think I'll be okay either way.

Last night I watched "Blade Runner" for the first time, inspired by a happenstance trip to the building where some of the climactic scenes were set! I will give them credit, 2010s!Los Angeles is pretty weird.

Only observing (and watching for pinch hits), not actively participating, but I could not pass up the questions, so:

– For me, Paragon Shep. (Well, really, "We'll bang, OK?" Shep.)
The Martian Chronicles by Ray Bradbury.
– I have a T-shirt that lists ten reasons why Kirk is better than Picard, but my answer is still Picard.
– All about the buns, hon.
– Maybe. Like I said, I'm watching.

My recipient has excellent taste in fiction and I got distracted consuming all these unintentional recs. But I'm finally on track once again and working hard on the fic. :)
