Space Swap 2019 clonks into motion! I will be quite busy in mid-January, but the fandom pimping post will go up then, and the franchise wrangling post a week or so before noms open. I do also aim to go through the info and rules posts and see if there's anything that could be clarified or expanded upon. (This exchange's DNW-prevention policy is that mods will randomly spot check gifts for DNW presence, and participants should contact mods for emergency pinch hit arrangement if they find they still have a gift with a DNW. This should likely be enshrined ) The numbers for nominations, offers, and requests will remain the same unless objected to.

Fandom recruitment period: September 14, 2013 - October 31, 2013
All fans are allowed to recommend their favorite space fandoms. Recruit other fans or introduce them to that ‘awesome thing in space’ that they might not have known about.

Fandom nomination period: November 1, 2013 to December 10, 2013
Each participant can nominate up to 6 fandoms on AO3. Nominating does not mean you’re committing to participate, but please only nominate if you plan to sign up.

Fandom dispute period: December 14, 2013 to December 29, 2013
During this period, people may identify errors (e.g. duplicate fandoms, misspelled titles) or dispute a fandom for not meeting the definition of ‘SPACE’.

Participant sign-ups: January 4, 2014 to February 8, 2014

Assignments: approximately February 15, 2014
If you find you need to drop out, you can simply use the default feature in AO3. We want to be be able to quickly work on finding a pinch hitter for your recipient, so if you'd like to send an email/PM to the mods, that would be appreciated as well.
