How was this year's Space Swap for you, dear participants? We're not asking for anything in specific, but feel free to tell us what worked and what didn't work, as well as general suggestions and comments.

I had a good time, thanks for running this exchange again! :)

About suggestions/thoughts: maybe the deadline and work reveals were too close to the smut swap ones? I suppose it meant less people coming to look at the works posted here at the reveals, as they were too busy writing for the busier smut swap, with the other exchange deadline so close. And then it also meant that they got too busy checking the revealed smut swap works, that maybe made the smaller space swap more quiet than it would be otherwise? Maybe moving the dates a little back or forth would be better.

Definitely going to avoid Smut Swap a bit more – a bunch of people told us they'd been confused by having two exchanges abbreviated as "SS" on their calendars, and mixed up the dates. Do you think a difference of one week be sufficient, or would two weeks be necessary?

(By anon above)

One week sounds OK, two weeks sounds better though.

Having reveals in the middle of the week really did the exchange a disservice. I wasn't able to enjoy my gift until the weekend and I suspect quite a few participants were in the same boat. Having important dates on weekends works quite a bit better for the majority of people (likely for general traffic to the works as well).

Thank you.

This year, I could only guarantee being there to reveal things on Wednesdays. (My schedule will likely be different next year.) We'll take it into consideration.

I enjoyed it a lot. Got hit by a couple of technical hiccups though.

Good to hear that you enjoyed it! Were the technical hiccups things the mod team could've prevented?

I think they were problems with AO3. in any case they were resolved in the end

Everything was great and I had a lovely time, thank you for all your hard work! I would second maybe-the-weekend for reveals if you were considering moving dates, but as a smaller exchange I don't think it's a deal breaker for traffic if that doesn't work for the mods.
