So, you have a space fandom. However, other people might not have heard of it! Thankfully, there is a solution: Tell us why your canon is the best! Here's a nice format you can use to make it easier for people to find stuff: (copypasteable below)
The canon: The canon's name
What: The medium – TV, book, anime, RPF, 5-minute (posters/music video/etc), ... – some idea of the length would also be good, is it one book/season/movie, or is it longer?
Where: where it can be found – is there a legal free download, is it on Netflix, an Amazon link, etc
Quick pitch: Give us a brief tagline! "Sentient ants get a space program", "Space Opera detectives chasing a priceless alien artwork", "Gritty asteroid mining RPG", ...
More: Tell us all the reasons why it's awesome! What do you like about the canon? The characters, the tone/outlook, the central concept, the relationship between hero and antagonist, the prose style, anything!
Now, go forth and advertise and read the most space-y recs list this side of the Crab Nebula!

What: Complete book trilogy
Where: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Becky-Chambers/e/B00LUQWGAU/ref=sr_ntt_srch_lnk_1?qid=1547383826&sr=8-1
Quick pitch: Spaceship crew of misfits get embroiled in an interplanetary conflict.
More: Space opera in scope, but beautifully intimate personal stories in execution, the world-building is exquisite, the diversity is fantastic and all the characters are wonderful. I like the second book best, but I love all of them. Really great place to spend time, and I can particularly reommend the audio versions as the narratir is awesome.
What: series of turn-based JRPGs
Where: currently all on the Switch!
Quick pitch: science fantasy telling the story of a solar system over thousands of years
More: I love science fantasy as a genre anyway, the music is awesome, it has its own unique atmosphere, I like how the series tends to stay on focus with the same plot, the same world and often generations of related characters over all four games. Also in the first game you play a girl and her pet cat.
What: Ongoing podcast
Where: Official website is here, but for some reason only the first five episodes are listed. All 9 episodes that are out so far are free on iTunes, Spotify, and Google Play, and possibly other places that host podcasts!
Quick pitch: Found spaceship family deals with the aftermath of intergalactic war.
More: Some intriguing worldbuilding and an interesting plot, but the draw is definitely the characters - well-written, hilarious, and fantastically diverse, within both the characters and the cast. Very easy to listen to, and a comfortable place to keep coming back to.
