Is there any checking on folks not commenting on their gifts and/or a way to tell if they just aren't available or something? It's always a little depressing to write a story that seems to get ignored by the giftee.
Mods do not send e-mails to noncommenting recipients. If they've linked their social media on their AO3 profile, they might've posted a notice about a hiatus, though if RL hit them they might not have been able to post a notice anywhere.
