Or: how do you want to subcategorize large franchises, so people can actually view and use the tagset without breaking out Excel.
All Media Types? Into subfandoms? By time period? By location?
Make a thread for your canon (unless there is one already), and then discuss in the subcomments.
The end result of the threads on 26 Jan at 17:00 Finland (when nominations open) will be used to decide how nominations are approved.

The modly suggestion would be to at least separate out Legends, the new expanded universe, and the movies, plus a fandom for Star Wars internal crossovers (e.g. Leia Organa (SWOT)/Female Revan (KOTOR))
Star Wars Crossovers
Star Wars: Resistance (Cartoon)
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (2016)
Solo: A Star Wars Story (2018)
Star Wars Original Trilogy
Star Wars Prequel Trilogy
Star Wars Sequel Trilogy
Star Wars: The Clone Wars (2008) - All Media Types
Star Wars: Rebels
Star Wars: The Bad Batch (Cartoon)
The Mandalorian
The Book of Boba Fett
Andor (TV)
Star Wars New EU - AMT
Star Wars Legends: The Old Republic (Video Game)
Star Wars Legends: Knights of the Old Republic (Video Games)
Star Wars Legends - All Media Types
Last year, The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett were merged; however, a bunch of nominators nominated them separately. Does the Space Swap populace still want them merged? If no-one replies, I will assume you prefer them separate.
I know we're trying to avoid the 'All Media Types' when possible but what are we using that tag for characters/relationships that span several canon instances like Leia Organa, for example? Should we use the "Star Wars Crossovers" as the fandom tag and list everything she's in for a character study?
I still feel The Mandalorian & BoBF are too entwined to be separate fandoms, but can nominate them under crossover if that's how the community majority wants to go.
There's a tag for "Star Wars: Rebellion Era - All Media Types" in AO3, can we nominate under that or should we be more specific?
Thanks!
For Rebellion Era: is this Legends or New EU?
I suppose that could work. Probably more for fic than vidding, to be honest. I just wondered how to best handle a single character who shows up across many sources.
From what I've seen, "The Rebellion Era" refers to the newer canon, but I haven't gone through everything in the tag on AO3.
Star Wars is a tough fandom for tagging and matching. :/
ETA:
And I'm thinking of nominations more from an offer side than a request side. Requesting is the easy part! LOL
I've used up my 5 fandom slots this round now, but I'll know for next time! :)
Only, apparently, it is! ;) ;)

Star Trek: The Original Series
Star Trek: The Next Generation
Star Trek: Deep Space Nine
Star Trek: Voyager
Star Trek: Enterprise
Star Trek: Discovery
Star Trek: Alternate Original Series
Star Trek: Picard
Star Trek: Lower Decks
Star Trek: Progidy
Star Trek: Strange New Worlds
Star Trek Crossovers (for e.g. T'Pol (Enterprise)/Worf (TNG))
+ books by storyline (so e.g. the Rihannsu books would go under one fandom category), with standalones nominated on their own.

I always nominate He-Man and MOTU for this one, but the Princesses of Power canonical makes sense for that show, since it is very different.
