I like pretty much what everyone likes about Murderbot--that snarky, awkward, hyper-competent voice. Struggling to find a place in the universe, while also discovering who they are and learning to define themselves by the people they totally do not love, no way. Snarky bots FTW!


If you're matched on art, I am A-OK with the subject being a portrait of the character. In fact, it would be hilarious to do a formal portrait of a spaceship, really. Or you can create some character designs for me, especially if you talk about why you chose the portrayal. Or a Tarot card of (or in writing: a reading for) any of them--none of them would take it seriously, but it might be interesting.


How's SecUnit 3 doing? Murderbot attempting to explain humans to SecUnit3 might be fun, or you could explore SecUnit 3's solo life. What name or names does SecUnit3 choose to use when interacting with humans and why? Does it like video serials as much as Murderbot, or does it find another form of entertainment diverting? So if you know me and my Thing for emotionally fucked-up tanks, then you'd be able to predict which character I fell for. I want more of Amos, drawn or written. The bad man trying to be a good man. Maybe expand upon his past from one of the hints he dropped, or just go on about his found family. And I found it hilarious in series 3 that it was the emotionally fucked-up tank who wound up caring for the kids. FYI, in my game I cured the xenophage and Wrex married Eve.


Possible ideas: If you're up for a multi-character fic and want to play it humorous, Tanks on a Mission or Tanks on a Bender is chaos waiting to happen. For more bittersweet fic, conversations or thoughts about What Could Have Been on the eve of battle. What happens on the Citadel stays on the Citadel.


Wrex: Wrex coming to terms with his new role as husband, in addition to commander, and/or more about Bakara|Eve, who is only a bit more than a cipher in the game. Wrex giving Grunt fatherly advice (for better or worse). Hell, Vega giving Grunt brotherly advice (for probably much worse).


Grunt: Aw, man, Grunt! Best hot-headed little bro evar. Always getting intro trouble on shore leave, isn't he? How about Shep having to bail him out of trouble yet again? Or other crew members conspiring to keep Grunt's latest misadventure from getting to Shep, to keep their commander from going spare? Or something quieter about Grunt figuring out life, making his krogan-sized shape in the world?


Vega: Vega's pretty similar to Grunt, really, when you think about it. If you're up for it, something about how Vega and/or Grunt explained their shore leave activities to Shep when s/he came to pick him/them up from the brig? Or just exploring his character and what makes him Vega?


Note: if you want to ship someone with Shep, either one of my requested characters or just a background relationship, this is one where my thing against fraternization really comes in--I didn't ship Shep with anyone during my playthrough because apparently I have a bone-deep conviction that if you can't keep it in your pants with someone while they're in your direct line of command, then you shouldn't be trusted as a leader. (i.e. shipping Shep with Vega after Vega leaves for N7 training and is no longer part of the crew: A-OK! Shipping Shep with Vega before the transfer: Please no!)
